So that’s a juvenile box fish. Unsurprisingly, toxic to eat. Probably my favorite reef fish, although juvenile harlequin sweetlips are pretty close. They’re called “disco fish”, they shaken their butt on the reef.Juvenile fish often have amazing colours and behaviour. Have a look for juvenile emperor angelfish, beautiful blue with black and white rings.
We had one in our reef aquarium. Beautiful fish and funny personality but they are very sensitive for illness. Ours passed away a few weeks ago unfortunately. You have to be careful with not leaving them in the aquarium since they release very strong poison when they die that Will kill all your fish fuck up your whole aquarium.
